My main competion in one of my niches is a website who has 8k backlinks, most of wich are from 3 sites(3 blog type sites, that have a "featured links" section).

My website has around 300 backlinks(with tons of ip diversity) but i havent even cracked the top 10 yet, even with SENuke.

Am I better off just getting these type of "Featured" backinks?

Its kind of ironic, im paying $127 a month for SENuke, when this guy is paying $20 for a featured link

I presume this website with 8k backlinks is on the first position for your targeted keyword. If that's the case than you don't necessarily have to outrank him, you could just go for the second spot. You'll receive 2 times less traffic but at least you'll be getting some. Of course, that is if the other sites ranked 2 to 5 aren't also authoritative sites (i.e ebay, amazon, wikipedia or sites with thousands of backlinks).
