Hi.
I have a problem. My IP got banned a week ago on facebook. There is no chance of me getiing the account back, but I want to continue to do ads on Facebook. I´ve been looking for answers all over the internet, but can´t find anything, so I hope some one can help me out here.

My plan is as following: I change my IP- address, create a new account and use it for a couple of days. Add a couple of friends, make it look legit, since that probably was why I was banned in the first place. Then start doing ads again.

Does someone of you have expirience with getting his entire Facebook account banned? By the way, I have had like 3 other accounts on this computer logged in to Facebook, and when I logged into them after I was banned on my "main" (and really, only account) every other account was banned shortly after I logged into them. So probably my IP is banned and I need to change it.

My questions:
- how do you change IP address to avoid getting banned again? Is this even the right idea?
- do I need a new credit card?
- can I use PayPal (which I did not use on my banned account)
- how can I get my Facebook account to be unlikely to get banned again?
- best way to never have to upload a photo of myself?

I would really appreciate any answers from you people and hopefully it he

As far as i know Facebook do not use this " IP Ban " thing (never faced it myself).
You're doing something totally wrong, probably your machine is flagged as Spammy as hell with the ads you're doing. Probably you've been manually reported too (by one or more, who knows).
Banning your other accounts just by logging in from the same machine says a lot man.
What is the campaign you're running & what GEO location you'e targeting?

PS: for a Facebook Ad Account, make sure you're not using it a lot in something else that doesn't concern what you're doing to make money. I used my real account & i never faced this IP BAN thing.

Thank you for the quick answer.
I was running flex interest campaigns, about 10 of them, 3 at the same time max. I was targeting Germany only. I wouldn´t consider my ads too spammy, since I really did not run more than 10 ads in total. I mean, I have never posted anything on my personal account because I didn´t use Facebook for myself, so probably that was one problem. But either way the accounts are all banned and I think I know what I did wrong, lesson learned. Now I need to find a way to get a Facebook account that doesn´t get banned immediatly.

Update: I signed up a new account on facebook a couple of days ago using internet explorer. Account is not banned yet, so probably my google chrome was broken.
I have not done anything with ads, I think that´s when the account will get banned for sure, though I will try in near future.

I will do the following:
1. create another legit facebook account, so i will have 2 accounts at this point
2. create a business manager account with account 2, add account 1 to the business manager
3. only use account 1 for ads, so it looks like i´m an employee

Will this work?

Hey, how did you get on with your FB account ban issue? I have had the same problem this week and doubt I will get it back. Investigating solutions and came across your post.

- My personal ad account and 2 business managers got banned. Really they should have limited it to just the 1 ad account, but no, the lot!
- I am now thinking of opening up a new personal account and waiting a while before advertising again.

My thoughts are...new website, new laptop mac address, new IP or VPN, new credit card, new account...even use someone elses too just for advertising

Look forward to your reply

This happened to me this week. Running pretty much white hat ad for about 40 or so clients. Lots of spend going through multiple biz mgr accounts. Anyway here's what I did:

1. Grab my wife's Macbook, got her added to all biz mgrs, and using her machine temporarily. It's on the same IP as mine so it might face a ban at some point too.
2. Appealed the ban - no luck yet.
3. Ordered a Wifi Hotspot from Sprint - to use only for FB and advertising. This will give me a sterile, mobile IP. - I know about proxies and have hundreds of proxies for other purposes, but I need this to be solid as my business depends on running ads.
4. Setup a new profile on my laptop - preparing for new account to be purchased.
5. Secured new, aged FB profile from a trusted source. Costing me around $500 but it's worth it for the security and consult of this pro.
6. Waiting to finish setup of new, aged account. apparently this acct. has no spend limits and is basically a real profile.

The guy i spoke with also advised setting up a windows VM on AWS and using that. He also said FB doesn't focus on IPs too much (because I was concerned about using a datacenter IP to access FB ads).

So that's my plan. I still can't figure out what got me banned from ads. I can still access and review all biz mgr accounts and ad accounts. I just can't advertise. My partners can though. It's very weird.

VPN and virtual machine + setting a custum dns which is existing (e.g cloudflare).

I've been getting banned from Facebook ads almost every time right after I "publish" an ad. I'm using fresh and verified business manager accounts (around 3 now) and I still get restricted or fully banned. My ads are not violating any TOS and are totally complying. (I did violate TOS in the past though, not on these new accounts)

What I'm doing is only using a VPN when i access and create new ads with no luck.

At this point, i need to find a long-term solution as my business depends on Facebook ads.

Anyone can give me a step-by-step on what to do?
