IP banned from OpenAI. What should I do?

What is VPN & PROXY used for?
VPN isn't good and the proxies I use are metered. No point in blowing money over this

With all respect clearly you have no clue about proxies. You cant easily turn $5-10 vps into unmetered proxy that only you use. I use such cheap vpses as proxies myself for some tasks. I can easily consume 20-50TB data per month. Thats probably 10-100 times more than you need to use openai API.
Nice diss. I specifically said the ones that I use but I regress. I just didn't want to go under the hassle of finding good proxies for this task again but I guess you are right

I would try a different IP, and clean your cookies and flash etc, and then with a different email and phone number, hopefully, jump right back in there!
If they ban you again, then it means they track hardware on your PC, so you need a new computer, or even just a windows tablet that you create a squid proxy in, and work through the hardware id of the tablet.

It ended up being on OpenAI's end. I wasn't actually banned. thank you though

Ah good to hear, lol i can't imagine what no access would be like, I would go as far as change my name and address if the steps I mentioned didn't work! lol I couldn't program a hello world, if it wasn't for chatgpt!
Stay awake from those jailbreaks! lol you never know when Ai gets upset and bans you! lol

Yea I used sme jailbreak from this forum so I was scared at first.

You can create a new account with different email address. You can also uninstall your browser and re install or try another type of browser to access. If it doesn't work, you can install a fresh operating system in your device and reset your internet connection. This might help you to regain the access.

When this thing started I made account there.
I used my old email.
I did some test there and so on..
Few days later nothing worked on the account.
It was total mess. Lots of functionality was gone and there was no way to upgrade.
It felt like a ban or something..
I then made new account with my other email and 0 problems since.
I got all the paid features and requested features I wanted.
But I rarely use it now. Just for some quick help mostly. For quick answers.
I have plans to use it for some content.
Just busy atm.
I used my old email.
