IP address

Hi all,

What recommendations for hiding your IP address if using stuff such as p2p, torrents, etc as these use applications away from browser? Any recommendations for mac users?

What's wrong with using proxies ?

There are already quite a few guides around here to fetch good proxy lists.

Go and get sock 4/5 proxies from socks5.net etc. then push a huge list into Charon, check them with a good judge and voila you have your 100 good proxies to use with utorrent etc.

what, a web based proxy?

ok sry, I realized you wrote p2p and torrent so it propably isn't as easy as I said to find good working proxies with a decent speed ( Still possible though if you get huge lists of good free proxies - I just got a few scripts to pull them). If you really want good fast proxies and are too lazy to do lots of research and have proxies cracking down on you etc. use paid proxies.

What I like to do is to use my own dedicated anonymous offshore server for distributing stuff (torrents & p2p), or simply to root my laptop through that server if I wanna download anything anonymously.
