contacts meaning random emails i have saved to a csv file? can i just upload them?
 
I've uploaded my first file some hour ago. It looks like invites have not sent yet as I haven't got any new fans. But that's kinda normal, simple invites need time sometimes too. We'll see tomorrow when i wake up
 
if you send 5,000 and get 0 then something is very wrong. i suspect this feature got absoltely r@ped and facebook has to now patch all the holes

well it just let me import and send slightly over 7,000 emails. assuming facebook actually sends the invites now... I hope they do lol. :D
 
i think you can only invite people that are not on facebook, this means your facebook email list is pointless.

i tried with my email list and it only send to pppl who are not registered on facebook.

TESTED and only works for people that are not part of facebook and dont have a facebook account.

fb is catching on to spammers, why because they know when they unlock this for us that we will blasting it. causing facebook to gain new members lol.

So there using us to get them more members WOW

Hm, it doesn't look so in inviting process. It's not connected with "if they are not on Facebook" but with Facebook members that are not connected with page we're sending invites to. At least that's exactlyx what I had when I uploaded my list - 4939 people are still not connected with xyz page. Do you want to invite them ? (or something in that line..). That's like 100% of contacts uploaded, I doubt they're not all on facebook

But anyway, invites I've made have still not been sent. No new activity on the page at all. So, something is fishy, I hope it would be true :(

why will facebook do that? they are the most popular social network site whats the point in using us?
 
I've seen this option for quite some time under the "Get started" tab of new pages (and also new applications, although i'm not sure), but never used it.

So it is sending just an email or also an invite through the Facebok system?
