As others have said, this does not work like it used to. You still might be able to get away with it if you only invite small batches spread out over various accounts with a decent pause in between invites.
This pause could range from every hour, every day, every two days, etc. Just perform some trial and error and you should be able to figure out what will get the account locked and what won't. As soon as you have figured this out, just take it easy and fly under the radar.
Once again, this method doesn't work like it used to and I haven't done it in ages so the limits might be really tight and it might not even be worth it anymore. You will have to try for yourself and see what you can come up with.
Lastly, I am not sure which link you are using to invite, but I generally would use this one...
