Invisible backlink

Let say I own site 1 and site 2.
I want to make a backlink for site 1, so I put the link on site 2.
However, I don't want users to see the link, so I make it almost invisible (1px font size and with the same color as the background).
Do you think Google would still crawl it and count it as a backlink?

I have seen websites on top using this strategy, but theyr links were like display:none.

Yes, I could also use display: none or visibility: hidden.

Google will see it... And google will hate it..
Google consider invisible links as bad links.

Yes, it also causing ux check error , links are there indeed but it's marked as error on page
