There are people here who have The process of making amazon sites, Adsense sites, affiliate sites, social media growth etc down to a science. They have long standing record of success. These websites and methods clearly become nice profit vehicles and can either be milked for the revenue or sold for some multiple.

so my question is...do any of these people/ “gurus” etc take investments from others for a share of the final outcome?I’m sure many people here would be interested in that type of investment vehicle.

Social media oriented assets sounds a lot more sustainable. Clearly, as it isn't related to SEO in any fashion.

What do you mean?
I would figure those who know SEO well have the means and methods to get sites ranking regardless of changes in algorithms.
Right?

The person you are talking about would usually have enough money to invest and keep all the profits to himself.

Your offer would only work if the final sale will bring him more than 25x - 30x of the site's monthly income.

Yes, investment is good and risk as well involved. Last year i sold a blog for $8k and before that $5k and it was all one person hard work.

You need to have deep understanding on how these things works, i learned a lot these stuff.

If you invest in right product, you surely get rewarded.

Are you talking about revshare or something else ?

similar to any company that looks for investments in forms of stock or small businesses who look for loans to expand, these website owners could definitely do it on their own, or could scale w more liquid money available.
As things change all the time, sometimes I think I’d rather invest my money in someone good at IM than do it my self :)

Haha I don’t know exactly if I am talking about one thing specifically.

We just see startups and companies and big corporations and small businesses always looking for money to make more money. Some high risk some low risk.

wesbites made by people who have internet money making down to a science I’m sure similar to other small business could use investments to scale and make even more money.

do you have any examples of revshare?

It's just sharing revenue with the affiliate. No specific examples but if you were to sign up with a CPA company, there are offers where instead of a fixed amount they pay you, they will do a rev share with you instead.

If you were to be a bit more specific with your question that will likely help others to further understand how they can best help you with respect to what you're trying to learn or in the information you're trying to acquire.

Thanks.

My question was more of a rhetorical question.

small and large Businesses take money and investments to grow and pay their investors

similarly, are there people in the internet marketing world taking investments to grow with a return in X time period.

example: if I can make great adsense websites because I know SEO like a champ, I may be able to make 5 sites a year due to time/manpower/money available.
If ppl gave me an investment of money, maybe I can increase my manpower and make 8 sites per year and share profit.

Another example:
On the marketplace, we always see sales for ready made amazon sites Or Shopify sites or Adsense sites. Once you buy that you need to work hard at ranking and bringing traffic.

if there were people who were really good at the whole process, maybe they could charge a fee (similar to an investment fee), that allows them to make an extra fully packaged website that generates revenue and Share profits.
Win win for both parties. Website maker gets capital to make more websites with an established method and team. Investor and website maker potentially make money in the long term as the website generates revenue or is sold.

The values per site tend not to be that great even at a 36x monthly profit. So you cannot really invest. You either buy the site or just hire a developer to build you a portfolio.

A few years back i used to just buy them, but only for products i sold. I was not interested in the amazon affiliate income, i was interested in driving the traffic to my product.

You can just purchase esatablished site. it will give you roi in +- 1 year, depending on how you handle it.
If you have capital, than purchase a few site like this, than hire a professional/Va to grow the site.

If you mean someone to work the site for you, and you give them capital. than it's not feasible,
because it's not safe for the investor and creator, any one can back down. since it's all online. you need to work only with Trust,
Not to mention, as the site grow the risk will grow to.
And most people can cover the expense with CC, since with their skill the are sure to earn more.
And as they pay more, they can take bigger credit, so there is no need for other people investment
Except you take a risk and give capital to new IMers that still learning.

the businnes is businnes in order to have income you should to invest. What you invest meanwhile - your money or time / skills - depends on what you have.

I am sure there are lots of site owners that would accept partnership or investors per se. But finding them is going to through some middle man, if you have no connections. If you have all the time in the world, maybe you would be lucky and the door will open up just for you in the right time.

Good luck btw...

Sounds like a really good idea. Many online entrepreneurs, even very successful ones, know little to nothing about business or investing.

It could be good to create a network where shares of each site or site owner are sold and profits are shared with investors.

yeah, I just figured on this site there would be some that are great at making money online and would always be looking for ways to scale. Having more capital can always help scale as in any business.

If youre Out there and interested, send me a message
