Hi,

I want to take some programming courses, I still dont know why ones, but I will choose the best&expensive ones.
Which do you think it will represent the future? The freelancing bots for companies or big customers or the mass-spam ones (like followliker, facedominator and others bots who generated +$500k on sales)

Please vote the Best Programming Language (in your opinion) to Learn in 2016?

This thread has been done so many times, the mods should seriously put a lock on an thread that has the words:

"best programming language" or "which programming language"

I also want to know! Wouldn't hurt to learn something new this year.

Thread moved to the proper place.

In regards to the subject, this is not 2004. All the languages you listed in their modern versions can make bots efficiently. The only one I would avoid for desktop bots is PHP, because it's harder to do the GUI (you'll need to use wxWidgets or GTK and there's not much documentation there).

it must be a joke...5 votes, 5 different responses

PHP+Javascript

WebBased tools is all I use. Websites is all I create.

seriously its 2016

Does anyone know what languages are used for making bots for websites? Like FollowLiker? Thanks

most probably it's not a joke, it's just personal preference i guess or maybe people who voted only know that respected language they voted for or just fucking with you lol

i wouldn't draw any far-reaching conclusions just judging by the votes

i think from the replies you'll gather, that there's no ultimate best :)

I wanted to asked the same thing...
On which language FollowLiker it's coded? I'm asking because there's a lot of mobile integration...

Most of the bots are either done in C# or Delphi (GSA, Scrapebox, Gscraper are in delphi).

Longtailpro and market samurai were done in java.

My personal opinion would be to go for the SAAS based application. You can use Python or Ruby and can build a scalable application.

Reason for SAAS based in Python:

1. Less security hassle (For .net you either have to go for your own security or using third-party services like .NET Reactor but they are crackable)
2. More optimization/automation can be done (Chef.io/packer/docker) scale on go o SAAS.
3. You can use C for the core functionalities for optimization.
4. Python have tons of libraries when it comes to threading.
5. You can distribute jobs among multiple distributed servers (Gearman).

If you need more help in the python - feel free to message me.

C# is good if you want to bootstrap your bots fast and simple
JAVA will be better for bigger projects

No love for Ruby in here? Other than that, Javascript is getting a lot better with ES6. Javascript is here to stay, IMO, and you should learn that if you ever plan on doing web work. It's even got a huge foothold in non-web areas with node.js, which Microsoft has been embracing as of late.
