If you got 1-2 years to wait, then invest in Articles (do a keyword research) and then in Backlinks.
If done properly, you'll start getting organic traffic in 3 months. In 6-12 months you'll peak your SERP's.
From there you have a decision to make, keep earning $XXXX,00 per month or seel the website with a multiplicator of 24 times your monthly revenue.
If for example, you earn a $1K per month with that website, then selling it for $24K, you would have made back ~500% (if you invested 5K).
Now rinse and repeat. With those $25K you can invest in 5 more sites, or invest in 1 site, and keep $20K for yourself.

I would pay someone to set up a nice professional looking Shopify dropshipping website with a brandable domain name, some basic link building, pay someone to make a nice logo and set up all social media and youtube accounts with nice banners and logos. Then buy ads and promote on social media.

Media buying - first - you're not on google's mercy. Scaling and cash-flow won't be a pain in the ass. You'll need to pay bills no matter your site ranks 1st or gets deindex. That's not a problem with media buying.

There's no way I'm going to spend thousands of dollars on something I don't even fully understand myself.
I started reading about dropshipping years ago but what a mistake I left it aside and never tried it.
I will start searching again though. Anyway thank you
