Introduction

Hello all! Wrekoniz3 here. Its been a while since I was last on here. I joined back in 2008. I have generally sat behind the scenes and used a lot of the information posted here at BHW to help engage in the Digital Media/Advertising Industry in a fraud free manner. Including but not limited to helping the company I work with to ensure we are as fraud free as possible (impossible to be 100% fraud free). From what I have read on here throughout the years, people here at BHW are extremely clever.

Anyways, I have been in the industry now for 15 years. I also have a degree in Video Game Development and used to work on the side as a developer of slot games for casinos and retail at one of the biggest slot game manufacturers in the world.

I wanted to make a special introduction in BHW style. A client of the network I work at, recently (within the last few hours of me writing this) emailed an Account Manager with some threats some of which included posting on here. Let me give you some back ground information:

Let me give you some background information, guy runs for 1 week low volume, stops, then runs for 5 days. Here are the 5 day stats, remember 5 days:


Woodworkpic.com 268,277 impressions with an Alexa of: 14,619,075 (even with recent adjustments ? that wouldn't add up for a period of 5 days. Based on those numbers that site would be doing approx. 1,609,662 impressions per month ? which is absolutely unlikely for that alexa rank). With ads overlapping (absolutely unacceptable) and content which hasn't been updated since 2013. Also no signs of user engagement, no social interaction, nothing. That would be Approximately 1,609,662 impressions per month. Not likely.


Bfashionpics.com 182,361 impressions with an Alexa of 7,120,247 (which is up 168,847 in recent updates) With overlapping ads on the homepage (unacceptable) and content which has not been updated since March of 2014. Also interesting to see that all of the pictures you provide have between 2 ? 3 million reported "downloads" looks extremely fake. That would be Approximately 1,094,166 impressions per month. Not likely.


Djdesignfuture.com 748,944 impressions with an Alexa of 884,659 (which is up 394,291 in recent updates). Poorly designed with 2 ads thrown in at the top. Content which hasn't been updated since April, 2014. Interesting looking at the threatening email after reading some of these blog posts and noticing how well the english is written on this blog, but how poor the english is in the email below...Interesting. Clearly either copied and pasted in or syndicated through an RSS Feed. That would be Approximately 4,493,664 impressions per month. Not Likely.


Crax.org 1,163,918 impressions with an Alexa of 2,426,378 (which Is down 281,295 in recent updates). 5 ads on the home page. Another bland / free looking wordpress template. Content last updated August, 2014 but in a period of 5 days go 1,163,918 impressions. Also with an Alexa which is about 3 times that of djdesignfuture.com the traffic should be less - not dramatically more. It doesn't add up. That would be Approximately 6,983,508 impressions per month with a 2.4M Alexa. Not likely by a long shot.


Wedding-vows.info 495,747 impressions with an Alexa Rank of 22,852,381 (which is down 20,656,987 one of the biggest drops I've seen in a long time). Most recently added content was June, 2014 with 19 downloads. This has more traffic to it than bfashionpics.com which claimed it had 2-3million downloads on every single piece of content. That would be Approximately 2,974,482 impressions per month. Not Likely.


Technocarehub.com 554,932 impressions with an Alexa Rank of 4,036,181 (which is down 1,917,119 in recent updates). 5 ads on the home page. Content last updated in june. That would be Approximately 3,329,592 impressions per month. Not Likely.

urls were modified to post.Perhaps this individual has been getting too many ideas from the people at BHW. But its really easy to spot even the smallest of discrepancies in general site reporting services and view-ability services when someone actually looks at it. But as you can see above, this person felt the need to threaten the AM, and I figured while I introduce my self, I might as well introduce this person as you might see him around because we absolutely do not comply with attempts to extort us.

Anyways, on a good note, hope to see everyone around, and if you have a good site which is legit and has legit traffic and are looking for monetization options, shoot me a PM, happy to help!

and there he is. Same points as he posted on digitalpoint...

Adswiki has become this place where everyone who uses bots goes to call PremiumCPM a scam. We use 3 of the top anti-adfraud platforms in the industry. So yes, people get banned for fraud, and we have data to back up the decisions we make when doing so. Banning people for fraud doesn't help us, it hurts us, we incur ad serving expenses, and the more it happens the more it hurts our reputation. However, we need to ban people who try sending us bots because if we don't the problem would get worse, and advertisers will all pull out, and all want refunds. The network is in the position where they are screwed if they do, screwed if they don't. Even when PremiumCPM does the right thing and catches these guys and bans them, they then get mad, call us a scam, when really they are the scammers and thats why they got banned in the first place.

What you are referencing online is less than 10 people (if real) out of over 1000 clients. Of course they want to complain and call us a scam, because they aren't getting what they want, and most of the actually posts are the same people posting over and over again with fake names, thats why none of them want to come out and post who they are. Cause we will put them on blast for fraud. Thats why people like you threaten to do it before you do, so you can force us to give you what you want. It doesn't work that way. Your opinion and "review" is trash, its words of revenge because you aren't getting what you want either.

We use AppNexus for Ad Serving. They have nothing to do with our campaigns, Ad Operations, Financials, etc. Most traffic are selling to direct advertisers who pay us directly. AppNexus has nothing to do with how we get paid, who we paid, or what our policies are. You know nothing about it, AppNexus doesn't release confidential information between their clients. So with all the direct advertisers we run security tools to confirm impression risk and legitimacy, we wait to collect enough data on certain sources then make a decision. If the source is no good, we see all advertisers running on the source, we notify them, most of them prepay so we credit them back for the amount. Even when we do that, we still owe Ad Serving Expenses which we take as a loss.

If you are going to press people like you know what you are taking about, please at least get your facts straight.
