Hi everyone,

I would like to introduce myself and give you a bit of my background and journey so far.

I'm a very experienced .NET developer with 8+ year?s experience.
I have worked for multiple software houses and digital marketing agencies.
Commercial projects include; British Gas, Asda, Homebase, Morgan Stanley, Juniper Networks, Colefax & Fowler.
In 2009, me and my friend set up our own business. He sold SEO and I developed websites / software?s.

I built a custom scrapper that generated our leads for SEO clients which made us about $23k (including web development deals) within a few months,
but let's face it you don?t get rich from developing websites for clients. SEO customers were also a pain in the ass, as they would complain that
they are not at the top of the page for their targeted keywords in 1 month. So we done some research and found out that joint ventures is
one of the most effective methods to generate income online.

Dec 2009 - Oct 2010: We developed a couple of software ideas and went to different networking events with the intent of teaming up with a big marketer.
In Oct 2010, that finally happened! One of our social product ideas paid off! A big IM marketer was interested in it.

In December 2010 I started developing a application which was ready to be put on the marketplace by June 2011.
This application has done a large amount of sales volume which totals to date $6.6 Million (gross).
All traffic was generated from affiliates and sold via webinars.

Don't get me wrong this was not easy at all; it was A LOT OF HARD WORK!! But well worth the effort!

It took you three years to post an introduction thread? Man, you waited for a loooooong time.
Congrats on your success.

I am seeing lot of Bill gates and steve jobs registering to forum lately Everybody earning billions and very excited to be on bhw

Yer I just read trough posts for a little while, then came back after a few years.

good job, what did you want to tell us by this ?

Nothing, I'm just introducing myself and giving you a bit of my journey so far.

Na, I just used that myself for a bit. It was a social media software. I can't disclosure what it was, as the marketer I teamed up with boxed me in a contract. No disclosure of working him, no approaching his affiliates, etc..

Hey man, not really sure about the point of your thread, but i take it as a success sharing thread.

COngratz!!!!

If I had $6.6 Million, I wouldn't be on BHW.
Don't get me wrong but this doesn't make too much sense, at least from my point of view.

6.6 Mill, is a big number, but when you minus refunds, affiliates 50% (some 60%), expenses (office, staff, servers, et...). Plus payment vendors holding large reserves. It comes down.

The OP joined BHW before you yet you still have more posts than him.........

Safe to say, he took A LOT of action. He's probably just taking a break right now. Not all millionaires are the same.

One millionaire wears louis vuitton while another like bill gates wears $3 t shirts.

how do you find a big marketeer and have you set up some sort of performance based agreement?

You have to network (events and workshops are better), but you have to have something to offer him/her first. If you don't it's going to be more difficult. Mine was a good software idea that I already built.
I was on a percentage, don't expect to get 50% though they will not except that, as they would make all the sales.

I'm confused I'm sorry did you lose your Money or something.

Yesterday you were bidding on a website development job which is worth a few hundred at most. From duffers

Today web and seo clients were to difficult to work with so you made a 6.6 million bit of software.

Maybe you had a bad run of luck and so are returning to basics. Or your posting this as an exaggerated cv to help you land more clients.

What did you develop for Morgan Stanley? Or at least what language did you use?

Buy an old account, state big numbers and watch the gullible fools roll in ready for the sting. That is what I have noticed before.
