Open source AI has advanced with the introduction of Dolly, a ChatGPT clone developed by Databricks, an enterprise software company.
Dolly, named after the first cloned mammal, was built using an open source model from non-profit EleutherAI and Stanford University's Alpaca model, which is based on the 65-billion-parameter LLaMA model from Meta.
