    As I'm sure most of you are aware, this type of traffic is dirt cheap on sites like L*nkbucks, Adf*y, etc. You can get something like 20,000 UV un-geo for under $10 and complete geo targeted for sometimes under $20.

    I'm starting this thread in hopes to spark conversation about "what" can/could you actually do in a Black Hat sense with this type of advertising.

    Nearly all the networks that serve these type of ads implement a framebreaker in their coding, so I feel like a lot of doors are closed right away since in my research I've found not a single way to debunk a framebreaker.

    Although you are limited, I feel that there is huge potential with these ads from an advertisers stand point since they are in fact on your fully functional web page for a good 10 seconds time.

    Just to start kindling the fire, one idea that may be worth looking into is the method of "TabNabbing" explained in a post titled,
    Code:
    [B]Tabnabbing: A New Type of Phishing Attack[/B]
    (sorry, can't post links). I'm thinking if there's a way to reconstruct the code so the page changes instantly without having to navigate away from the tab and can take over the entire current tab, eliminating the original end url location the ad company was leading too and replacing it with yours, we'd all be sitting upon thousands of real visitors at one of the cheapest prices on the market. The possibilities are endless once you have them on your site, I think clickjacking would do some serious justice in this type of scenario. But that's just me...

    I'm really interested to see if anyone can come up with something here. It seems like an undiscovered gold mine to me.

    Fire away,

    Use it for clickjacking popular sites. Chances are the user will be logged into some kind of social network.

    I agree that clickjacking is the ultimate winner here. BUT, I feel like unless the page is completely swapped via tab nabbing or the user is completely redirected, these ads are useless.

    Why would anyone click on your ad if they see they only have to wait 5 more seconds until their desired content is unlocked?

    If you tab nab or redirect them somehow, the 10 second countdown and original url destination from the ad company would be eliminated and you would be in a position to bank off some serious real traffic.

    Just imagine if you redirected them to a landing page saying something like "Oops, there was a problem loading the page. Click here to reload and try again." The possibilities are endless.

    Any insight or ideas to help propel this idea forward would be greatly appreciated!

    That sound like it has some potential. Reminds me of an old email trick of just sending out emails that said;

    "This email did not load correctly. Please click here to reload this email."
