Best. Film. Ever.

For me. I watched the film in a normal cinema.. but now I NEED to watch it again in IMAX 70mm..only a few cinemas shows the movie in that format, and the nearest place to me is London. So far away from where I live.. but I'm going to London no matter what in the next few months.. I just hope the movie will still be in the schedule of the BFI IMAX Cinema of London.

If you haven't watched the movie yet, then you're doing it wrong.. go now.. and go watch in IMAX 70mm if you can.

I know, no movie is perfect..someone will find a way to ctiticize everything BUT, those feels.. feels about US, about OUR WORLD, about OUR CHILDREN, about OUR CIVILIZATION as a whole..

Thank you Matthew McConaughey for the masterpiece acting, for Christopher Nolan directing the film.. and for everyone that made this possible.

was it very simular but better than deep impact , armageddon , the day after tomorrow , 2012 , and the core?
 
gravity was great and this was better than gravity....
 
I thought it was a great movie, although 75% of the theatre audience left confused and baffled as to what just happened. I thought the ending was perfect.

The Imitation Game was also a brilliant movie, although I felt the 2nd half wasn't as great as the first.

There are far better SCI FI movies out there and they didn't needed millions to produce it.

I gotta give John Wick a thumbs up right now, check that out! One of the best movies, up there with Taken.. 10/10
 
I really enjoyed the movie and seems to be a good time spend watching such and interesting movie for gravity. I would recommend my friends here who have not watched this movie to go and see it.
 
I enjoyed it. Christopher Nolan is a great director imo. None of this JJ Abrams lens flare nonsense.
 
It's freakin' art. First class cinema. I'm not a Nolan fanboy, but I think he's the best mainstream director nowadays.

This is true, but it's not really an argument to disqualify the movie.
 
Just 2 days back I watched this Movie and Indeed movie is interesting.
But story is quite complicated yet not easy to understand. I bet you will never understand Climax of movie.
 
I'm a huge fan of the Universe and Science, so I didn't have any problem.. but yes, a lot of people didn't understand a chit because of their ignorance about these things.

My friend that was with me didn't even knew what a black hole is, or time dilation or stuff like that... no words.
 
I loved it so much. Saw it a few days ago, and it blew me away. I wasn't in a cinema since the first hobbit, but I couldn't miss that one. Good choice. :D
 
One of the best reviews I read summarized it by saying "finally, a movie worthy of the title 'Gravity'" lol. Yeah I enjoyed this movie. I'm not a physicist so it left me with a few questions such as: If the gravitational field they were in on Miller's planet was so strong that it dilated time to such an extreme, how were they not crushed instantly? I only had two other points of contention really. First was when the one astronaut says "that's relativity folks" after they just finished explaining time dilation, in an obvious appeal to the brain-dead "general audience" who is just there to witness flashy things and shovel popcorn into their gaping maws. Pretty sure they all know what relativity is on the Endurance and don't need it explained to them. Lastly, I guessed how the "ghost" would play out after they kept mentioning it, which somewhat ruined the surprise for me later.

Overall though I really like this film, from the visuals to the music and acting. AND they didn't smash you over the head with an obvious, political, environmental message when they had a clear opportunity to do so given Earth's predicament.... so props there too. Luckily I can go see movies for free so I can watch this one again real soon.

PS: +1 for Tetris robots!

I prefer cam copies with people getting up and down, gives the real cinema experience straight from your living room.
