So i have interspire installed on my server and it has a list with 2 million email addresses.
I have just imported a new list witch it approx 1.2 million.

Is there any way i can compare list2 with list1 and any matching emails i find in list2 which are in the original list (1) will be removed from list2

Merging the list isn't a option as i pay the list on business the list generates.

Can you not do that on the database? I am not sure what the db structure for interspire is but the most efficient and quick way would be to run sql query and delete from the email list table where email is duplicate. Something like this could do the job ( obviously, I am not sure what the actual table structure is plus you want to make sure that you delete within those two lists only.)

    Code:
    delete T1
    from email_list_subscribers T1, email_list_subscribers T2
    where T1.emailaddress = T2.emailaddress
    and T1.subscriberid > T2.subscriberid
If you are not a sql expert, then consider hiring someone :)
