interspire contact import too slow any idea ?

I am importing about 100 mb csv file which has 1137000 contacts

It has been 2 days straight and only 624k imported so far from the contacts list

When i check from task explorer

Firefox uses about 40% cpu and 150 MB ram
MySQL 2% cpu and 70 mb ram
Fast CGI 2% cpu and 10 mb ram

The machine has 2 GB ram and a 40% free cpu or more

This thing is terribly optimized. With my own software i could import all contacts definitely in less than 10 minutes at this machine

Do you know how to increase import speed ?

Have you tried dropping the files in "admin/import" directory and import from there?

and how does it match fields custom fields ?
