Interpol's warning on Metaverse

Seems like anything unique to the Metaverse could be avoided by simply taking the headset off

Any other cybercrime is no different than standard internet engagement in a game or web browser - Financial data hacks, spam, etc. I mean what is an actor going to do? Force you to watch porn?

They have been doing it since metaverse is launched or came in existance.

Basically it is true as well. Because if you play online games like csgo, valorant and others there are lot of f words and lot of harrasement also you can say a lot of bad people who are just saying whatever they want to say.

Also for metaverse these things applies because there will be people who will try to abuse and mostly do useless things which will harm the mentality of kids or mature people as well.

Currently the social medias are similar but in metaverse it will be one step ahead.

We barely have any clue how the metaverse will take shape
Give it time

Are you searching ideas for cyber crimes?

ingame currency dealing, blackmail, scam rings basically anything you find in most games with a free to trade economy. And don't get me started on the white collar frauds that may pop up. Yes i'm looking at you EVE Online.

But in order for that to happen they'll need more players and better content.

Has this been fixed even on the internet? Microsoft scammers are still out there

I heard yesterday some where metaverse is loosing money like billions of dollars?

Harassment aside, it's a new frontier for illegal underage activities and financial crimes. Will a virtual face to face experience make people more likely to trust another virtual face and fall for a scam? I don't think we know.

Meta went from $378 a share to $95 a share, so yes they've been bleeding money ever since they changed facebook to meta
I did not expected this stupidity from marky mark.

Metaverse is a crime in itself. This is a misconception.

We must attack them with CPA links! Let's commit them spams.
