Internets been sketchy

Hey, last week or so my internets just been on and off. It can be workign fine for 30 minutes, hours etc and then it wont work for a while, then it'll work again.
I have no idea what it is. My sisters laptop works fine, aswell as the desktop (POS btw).

So it cant be my internet, I dont think. I ran a scan of my computer with mcafee, but mcafee is a shit antivirus so it mightve missed something.

Anyone know what might be happening?

Are you using wifi? Are the other machines using wifi?

It is pretty hard giving network analysis advice when not being able to come into contact with the actual network. Question of voyevoda is a good one, is it wireless network or a lan?

Haha shoulda mentioned that. Yes, my laptop and my sisters laptop both are on wifi. 802.11g of whatever its called.

If it is wifi could be something is disrupting the signal, bad configuration of the router, some PCs having a static IP and others dynamic.. so many things. Network fixing is fun if you like it, but it can be a bitch!
