Internet speed and download earnings

How much does Internet speed affect the earnings a person gets from download sites? Right now I am only able to upload files at 256Kb/s and I'm making $.27 per day now,its increasing every day when I make more posts etc. only on 5th day)

If I were to upgrade to 100Mb/s could I see my profits go to $50 a day within a few days,by uploading easily 185x more files a day?

I really think so, but if you don't want to just change your plan to a 100mbit, get a VPS for 1 month and test it, if it works you could think about getting it into your house.

But again, it's not guaranteed, since it's not only the amount of files that you upload, but the most important thing is how quickly you get the release. And unless you're into some scene private torrent tracker, you'll never be the first to upload something, so I don't think you'll get $50 a day in a week, for example.

But it's worth the try, in 1 week I got over 1000 downloads by simply remote uploading files from Mediafire and posting it IN THE SAME PAGE that the Mediafire link was posted.

How much GB and files does FS let a user have? I'm on the free version and I have uploaded 2.5GB of files so far since Saturday night. When I meant getting 100Mb/s i meant getting a VPS from xsserver or a similar site. It takes so long with my connection to upload files,only have 70 on my FS account. I ended up with $.29 by the cutoff today,which is 108% higher then yesterday.:D

I reallly don't know the storage limit. And what kind of content are you uploading?
I used to upload tv series, and it went fine. If you combo tv series + porn + movies with a 100mbit I think you'll be able to make some profit. But i doubt very much it would get to $50 a day easily.
