Internet on the blockchain?

Ran into a new ico today called internxt. I've been seeing a few similar ideas lately and, considering the demographics and motives here, was curious what you guys think about decentralized internet. Is that the way things are heading? Any thoughts on how to profit from this outside of just investing early or snagging some early top level domains? Any other similar projects that look promising?

It's not about the fancy cryptocoins it's about the real technical innovation... the Blockchain.

I think the decentralization Idea is the most advanced thing that happens since the Internet it self.
but thoughts of a decentral Internet is nothing new actually, remember the mesh network.
As always it is the conflict with the established elite in our world. They scared the power any individuum get.
Because decentralization means:
Every Person can be like a state/firm with their own rules, own contracts, own money etc.

So nobody knows where it goes, we live in a very exciting time.
But I think in the end nobody can stop this technical progress.

Blockchain is a product of the globalisation which is going to make banks absolet.
The world is changing quickly now

Yeah, haha. Either people are missing it, or I didn't properly explain my question. The real question is something more along the lines of... This is the way the internet is heading. Nobody owns the network, so there is no censorship. If the internet was just beginning, how would you take advantage of this. What domains would you grab up, what businesses would you start. And at that point, would putting your efforts towards helping adoption of this new tech help your new ventures more than marketing your ventures themselves?

Yeah but the question your asking is the million dollar question in itself, you can invest this time in the technology itself or rather services the technology that arise, but thing big instead of some toplevel domians, which like tlds now are are expensive to begin with, why not invest in a registar like godaddy, the new decentralized godaddy that is, but if your taking about real money im taking facebook level money here, you need to be the first one to provide an essential service, think of what the decentralization will offer and what you can do , i cant give you examples because it wiill depend on how it shapes up. but i agree with you here , sooner of latter this is happening

when you not experienced in programming (c#, Java, Python) you can't create shit. the opportunities coming with the already used technics and how creative you integrate them.
You know steve jobs was a clever marketer, you don't need to reinvent the wheel.

myself saved some domains which are based on the blockchain topic, that's all. But I'll stick to it, I keep my eyes and ears open.

Do not invest your money on % pump/dump coins.

Instead, invest your money on the tech.

I like IOTA tech, but its too advance. I dont think the tech will start running even 5-10 years from now.

Just like this so called internet of the blockchain. I mean, those deceltralize concept almost similar with TOR.

As result, it becoming place for child pornography or illegal drugs activities.
