Why can't internet marketers get any respect? Everybody around me seems to think internet marketing isn't "real work" or "real business". They say I'm just playing around on the computer. Playin' around my ass! I am an entrepreneur. I work hard every day. I invest money to get a return on my investments just like an other brick and mortar business. Why do we have to put up with this disrespect??

1. You explain in depth all the technical aspects to make yourself sound smart and like they wouldn't have half a clue on what to do making yourself sound like your earning your ends meat because you've had to learn all this hard stuff.

When you're younger and the people around you still don't know wtf they are doing with their lives - you'll get this a lot.
At some point, people like us have split apart from the typical porn, games, and movie watching people - when we realized that the internet could be a tool for making money. People who use it for nothing other than jerking off and wasting time, will NEVER understand the way this works..
When people start seeing that you have money, and you sit in front of the computer all day as "work" - you'll see a lot of interest coming from people. You'll actually miss the times when your friends just gave a crap about getting drunk - and not about how you can be useful to them.

Well of course you have to tell them that if it's not real work, then you definitely enjoy sitting around making money while you take a shit rather than work all day like they do. Really if I could make money by doing nothing I'd be all over that, not putting someone down.

I always like to think "If you do something you like you will never work a day in your life" so when someone says "Interne marketing isn't real work" you tell them your absolutely right I love it.
