Internet Marketing is Addicting!

Anyone else feel this way?

It's a great feeling to see one of your websites that you have worked so hard on finally hit the #1 spot for that certain keyword!

I work at a SEO company doing the 9-5, then come home and work 6-12 on my own projects. Most of the days I find myself excited to get home to be able to work more.

Even last night when I was at the bar with some friends, I caught myself checking my rankings of my sites lol...:y:

I have a lot better of a time working on my own compared to my 9-5. I can do things the way I want and don't have to follow "procedures" - My goal is to be able to get to the point where I can quit my day job.

Maybe I need a intervention?

It is addicting indeed. But this addiction is empowered by ambition to succeed and achieve your goals. Further more, those goals are building up your dreams, so if you are working for your dreams and not chasing them like BTB's dog does (Healzer knows best) , then you can say that this kind of addiction is more than welcomed. It's a lifestyle, IM is a lifestyle if you get to reach to that level.

But don't forget to live your life as well. I have big plans and don't limit myself, but I don't want to look back and see myself in my 20s, all day long in the front of the computer Work hard trying to learn how to work smart. Then work just smart

Live your life too. And every now and then, spoil yourself a bit as well, like a boss ;]

Im getting my first inhalation of the addictive quality of internet marketing

Thats what I did several years back. I quit my job and started working full time from home. In internet marketing field, the 9-5 job means you're working for peanuts and your employers are earning for nothing.

Just getting my site up and running + indexed in google was enough for me to want MORE!

Ya I completely agree! Most nights I only get like 5-6 hours asleep and do it all over again. I think it will be worth it the day I can eventually quit my day job

Even though I work hard, I also try to party hard and enjoy company with friends / family on the weekends.

I've been in Internet Marketing since last August. Well, I had a site up, but thought that internet marketing was not necessary. I have since been marketing two websites and have made few sales. However, I do see that my site is increasing in traffic a bit more consistently. Also, my clickbank is receiving more hops continuously. All this has made me think that Internet Marketing is able to make me sales and money.

All I have used for link building is AMAutomation, SENuke and now Scrapebox. All in that order. I no longer have SENuke or AMAutomation since it requires a lot of article marketing.

I am trying to get XRumer and hope that this will increase my traffic tremendously.

The only thing that are my obstacles I believe are the NoFollow tags on my back links. I would really would like to know what other people think about the NoFollow tags on certain blogs.

Either way, I continue on with my Internet Marketing.

You are right, but look what you get that is of course not possible with routine 9-5 job. IM not only provide you peace of mind but also helps you make your dreams come true.

I started IM about 8 months back.. took it slow until 5 months ago..then I started doing it 14 hours a day. 3 months ago, I got a job on the other side of the world, Australia.. on a luxurious island resort. The nature, sea, people.. everything is sooo awesome. Food is good and I'm enjoying the fuck out of this island..

Still.. every night.. I'm at BHW, on my sites doing reconfig a bit, looking at my adsense.. working on my BIG project,.. finding and collecting new ideas/thoughts ... Can't let IM go. Even though I'm barely making decent bucks.. I just can't put the thoughts out of my head.. I love IM... can't be put into words..
