Sadly, some people on the forum are like that and I guarantee he won't say that he did. To grow pubes, you'd have to have balls ;).

I just sure hope for his sake he is about 13 as if not I have bad news for him, he certainly has the mentality of a 13 year old.

I was filling a form recently and they asked what was my occupation.

What's your say? Or what do you put as your occupation or when people ask you?

I guess Like with this IM Game in general all
depends on the Company/Client/ Individual/target
doing the inquiring.

Marketing Strategist
Marketing Specialist
Marketing Leads Specialist
Marketing Leads Strategist
Brand Marketing Specialist
Marketing consultant
Marketing Coach (When the Target seems clueless to Marketing) -lol
Butcher
Baker
Candle stick maker

...and the list goes on.

Of course all of these could or not be
preceded by "Internet"
but you'd be surprised at the numbskulls
out there who still don't recognize Internet Marketers
for the Powerhouse entities that we are.
And I just love it!
Mo pies for me to bake up!

Note: All you have to do is find out how many points you've been negged. Then double it. Go through and look for those who have that number. It's usually rare for you to find people in a thread that have the same number of rep points.

I wonder which threads are more common, the "What do I call myself/tell others I do" or "Should I go to college" threads.

Marketing consultant is probably the best thing to tell people if you do SEO for others.

oh, tell me about it, let's discard market opinion and focus on what your passion is.

Business isn't about your passion or helping, but making money. Some businessmen are able to trick people into buying stuff they dont need or want.

I like to have fun with this question...depends on where I am. If I am at place I know I will never see that person ever again: I tell them that I sold my company to Yahoo for 32 Million...give them some fucked up tech type sounding business and they usually fall for it. Otherwise, the people that know me, I just tell them that I work on the Internet or I do SEO. They see that I do OK and take it at face value.

A guy who simply runs a business is not an entrepreneur. The entrepreneurial function has been finished and he is now a worker, who gets paid for managing the business.

According to a pretty good definition, an entrepreneur is one who has a temporary monopoly on knowledge. For example - you twist a method, apply it and start making money - at that point you are an entrepreneur - you found yourself an effective way to satisfy the consumers that other hadn't yet. As others join you, you are no longer an entrepreneur.

Competition is not a state as many people are led to believe - competition is an activity. The entrepreneur is the agent for change - the one who pushes the market to more efficient directions in its role of satisfying the consumer needs.
