International shipping from U.S or China?

If i offer international shipping should i drop-ship from China or send directly from the U.S? I never shipped outside the U.S before and i hate the hassle of it, i was thinking and my plan was i'll ship to U.S buyers and drop-ship to international buyers to save money and time. Is this a good plan or should i just ship directly from the U.S?
