International SEO

Im looking to put together an international seo plan for a site we're working on. Does anyone know of a guide or informative article that would help me out to look over?

one of the biggest things is going to be your languages implementation. I just did this for a client we had 3 options 1 the client suggested putting the google translate interface. I told him that was a horrific idea since it translates in real time your other language sites wont be indexed. #2 use a plugin that allows you to have different translations of pages #3 create completely seperate sites for different countries.
