page with lots of internal links and 1 external link. Does it matter how many internal links are on this page? does external link gets weaker if there is more internal links?

I hope i explained this properly! :)

I think so yes. Thats what i believed at least. But when making web20s i even keep their horrible internal structure because it seems more fully and complex then.

Internal links are fine, just use them correctly, they should not dilute its power.

Yes they do dilute the link juice.

External links carry more link juice than a internal link but internal links do take up link juice.

Internal linking will help your site, but use it only if it's necessary otherwise it may affect your site.

You shouldn't need to worry about how much dilution it causes. You should instead ask yourself first if you are linking out because that's a recommended best practice or if it actually creates relevancy between your site pages( read site architecture).

Too many people are focused on linking out to 'authority' sites without even asking themselves first:

1) Will it cause visitors to be distracted and bounce= lower conversions

2) The URL I'm linking out to, will it provide value and add TRUST to how my audience perceived me?

3) Am I doing this because I want good on site best practices as recommended by all the gurus and Google shills, or does it really make the customer journey on my site much better?
