I'm writing here today to share my experience with you. I have a website with more than 600 unique and useful articles and I was getting no to little organic traffic for years till I found an article talking about the importance of internal linking in seo. So I started all over again and created a schema of all my content and I categorized it. Then I started to update my oldest posts by following a strict interlinking strategy. After doing that I started seeing some improvement in serps in addition of an improvement of the overall visitors experience in the siteweb without getting any external links.

Did anyone experiencing the same thing? Or it's just a coincidence?

Internal links form a core and major part of SEO and it's no coincidence that the changes you made had a positive impact on your rankings.

Ofcourse google loves it when we update old post with some more Content and info.

Interlinking Is a must. Recently i linked 1 post from 4-5 other posts.. i saw a boost in SERP for that 1 post. My keywords jumped from page 2 to 1.

This is normal. Your link juice is flowing better so you are ranking better.

Wondering, if you have a website with DA/PA=1 and no backlink to it, how can interlinking help you? I mean is there any juice to pass?

It gives Google other signals like relevance but it won't help much for link juice.

internal linking is very important. The 'deeper' you go, the less value the internal links have tho.

Interlinking help you in ranking for sure, but don't over do it as it can get you penalized too.

I think if you do on page seo. Traffic definitely improves

Internal linking is much important in any blogs because it helps the visitors to get their needy in a click. If internal linking is not done properly it may lead to the increase of site Bounce rate and exit rate. And also it helps in SERP's too, so make the better linking strategy to your sites.

Internal linking is one of the most important factor for ranking, it is a part of on page optimization and your site must have silo structure so that the link juice will be passed properly and in return you will get good rankings in search engine pages.

Internal linking or go home. No matter how new or weak your site is, the fact that your website is interlinked and organized better is a signal for Google. Sure, if your site is new, then we can't really talk about improved juice flow, since there isn't any, but the entire structure is something that Google loves. So yes, do it everywhere you can, it will help you big time.

Whenever I add content, I always link to at least one other relevant piece on my site, and then from another older relevant piece, I will link it to the new content.

EDIT: Nevermind, I thought I am in a different thread.

Just interlinking between your page is a minute factor in rankings, but nevertheless an important factor.

Blog post was published yesterday and blog doesn't get much traction. Needless to say, you could do a better job at self advertising.
