Hello BHW!

So we have a large blog and it is full of great content. Most of the content falls into 4 main categories which I am sure you guessed are our primary keywords. So that part is working great, but I want to give it even more juice. I want to start working more intelligently on the internal link plan, or lack of plan.

1. When internal linkings do you what ratio do you use your keywords vs generic terms?
2. Currently our strategy is to write posts around a keyword and related keyword and then depending on how broad/niche they are point that post to a product page, collection, or homepage.
3. For the above should we try to link all topical clusters together?
4. And the big one, how do you manage to keep all this straight? We have hundreds of posts so its a bit daunting to think of a visual way to keep track of all of it.

Thank you!

1. I am actually trying to keep it all LSI/generic and try to avoid exact match anchors. Partial match here and there, but even that is sporadic.

3. I interlink everything with everything. Topical clusters will naturally be interlinked together a bit more than some outside pages, but I wouldn't be bothered.
Unless you have a multi niche site about cats and cars, just interlink it all.

4. Link Whisper plugin will help you big time with keeping track of your interlinks. Can't recommend that enough.

Thank you very much, very helpful!
