In lieu of phpbuilt's recent post on authority website optimization, I came across a website that checks your website for internal duplicate content while checking out some of my articles on Copyscape. It was actually advertised on Copyscape itself, so I thought it matched up with what I just read about and decided to give it a go. The website is http://www.siteliner.com/ It checks your website for duplicate content and broken links. I just discovered it, so I can't offer much more explanation other than that. Using it, I found that my site has 51% internal duplicated content. It's mostly because of tag and category pages. Read up on how these effect your rank in phpbuilt's post above. Anyway, that's all. I just wanted to share that site, hopefully it isn't a repost.
