What is the best strategy for interlinking? After all efforts my site is not ranking in google. Can any expert pls check and let me know if I have done anything wrong in interlinking on my site https://proinsports.net ?

just took a quick look at your site and saw this weird link that you should remove:

the URL of this page is... https://proinsports.net/pickleball-vs-badminton/

But I'm not going through all pages as it will take time, sorry. You can pay someone in the HAF forum to help you with this :)

No problem! And hopefully someone will chime in here so that you don't have to pay :)

What I can say, though (without checking your site in detail), is that you should remove all of the links like the one I mentioned in the screenshot. That link points to the login screen (or to a page that's private / hidden probably), and that's not good from a SEO perspective because it will give errors if googlebot can't crawl your site, which could get it de-ranked

Another tip that I can give you is: if you have affiliate links on your site, use a cloaking plugin like PrettyLinks (which is free by the way), to cloak and shorten those links so that they look clean and - more importantly - they don't look like affiliate links.

Also, interlink only the pages that exist in the same category whenever possible. Cross-linking between different categories is not very smart. Sometimes it does help, yes, if the relevancy between the 2 interlinked pages is extremely high, but in general you will want to interlink pages that are within the same category. From what I'm seeing, your site seems to be about one topic only (which is great from a SEO perspective), so in this regard you can safely link between multiple categories.

But if you had a website about sports, in general, and you had categories like Soccer, Tennis, Hockey, and Marathon, for example, you would interlink only the pages within their respective category as it wouldn't make sense to link from an article in the Tennis category to an article in the Marathon category (unless, like I said, both articles had a really common subject)

So, keep these tips in mind when you do internal linking and you should be good most of the time :)

Oh, and more more thing... the first link placed on a page usually gets the most link juice (authority, page rank, DA, DR, SEO value, or whatever you want to call it, it's basically the same thing), so try to put your most important links as high up the page as possible (ok, maybe not necessarily high on the page, but try to make them the first 1-2 links on that page)

It seems you have only a few websites that refer to your website.

You need to build more links to start ranking your website for keywords.

Consider foundation links, which you can find here in the forum.

Your site is just 100-130 days old without any backlinks

it's something normal , just keep writing and don't over optimize your anchors.

Good luck :)
