Interlinking your sites?

Are you allowed to interlink your sites if you have them under the same webmasters account? Or should I keep each of my sites on different google webmasters account?

If their related, sure, otherwise don't. Google isn't fond of sitewide link or footer links

That's really down to the approaches you are using. if your doing bh tricks then I would keep them separate. if your doing legit strategies there's no harm in g mapping them is there....

Would google discount the link juice because the links are from the same owner?

if the links are on the same server ie IP address then they would not discount them rather lessen the benefits of them.

Apparently it's not a good idea to do so, and honestly if they're not in the same niche it's not worth the risk either..

My sites are in really similar niches so I'm probably gonna go ahead and link a few of them to a main site. And if I bought multiple servers or used a free webhost then the IP address will be different right?

Interlinking sites leaves one heck of a footprint. Not that Google can't detect most footprints anyway, but why give them a reason to nuke all your sites at the same time. I'm of the belief that interlinking is risky.

I would say that interlinking is only risky if there's a reason for google to suspect you of something in the first place. Yes it leaves a massive footprint, but if you were a mommy blogger or something with a couple of sites and just interlinking, it's not like big G was going to throw down the hammer on that. If, however, you're using some BH techniques on one of the blogs, you really should keep them separate (I personally wouldn't even want them on the same WMT account, assuming I used WMT at all in that case).

Do bear in mind that if you're interlinking everything, Google will probably negate most of the effect, so the advantage may be minimal. There are probably ways around that (open-ended linkwheel style), but I think expecting much benefit would be very optimistic of you.

I'm using 000webhost for a few of my sites and it gives different, but similar IP addresses for the websites.

I have a paid godaddy hosting account and yes all the sites on it have the same IP address, so it should be fine if I interlink my websites with other hosting service providers right? Google can't find out?
