As e all know, internal linking is very important to spread the link juice through the website, most people recommend to use a silo and have the posts only link back to categories / homepage, however would that really be the best choice?

Silo in itself is fine but since we are looking to rank the inner pages / articles and not the category / homepage itself wouldn't interlinking the articles IN THE SAME CATEGORY also be important?

At least that's what I believe however I'm finding myself with a dillema.

I want to interlink but I'm targetting similar keywords where only a word or number change which ends up with a high partial keyword density really high if I use blogrolls / Related Posts plugins.

Let's say I'm targetting:
"Best beard shaver"

and I have several variations, each variation is 1 article

"best beard shaver model 21321321"
"best beard shaver model 12837812387"
"best beard shaver model 8599328"
"best beard shaver model 554834"

If I use a blog roll / related posts plugin each of my articles would end up with really high partial keyword density (best beard shaver model would end up with 3-4% density instead of 1%)

So my question is, how can I interlink articles where only a word or number change to avoid high keyword density.

Use the same words every time to link to other related internal pages. It helps search engine to understand about the topic of that linking pages. But don't need to link to a same page from a page again and again.

Questions answered.
Make it short : why would you NOT interlink related pages ????

See what I do is a vary anchor texts entirely. For example, I would use generic anchor texts, partial matches and less frequently exact match.
In your case I would use:

Braun Series 9
Most Efficient Shaver
Shaver Model 21321321
Electric Foil Shaver for Men
Braun Shaver Reviews
Best Electric Razor

In my opinion there is no need to always use exact match and it can hurt more than it can help. Plus it will make the site look spammy. I'm not saying my way is the best way, but is what I tend to use and works for me.

While I understand the reasoning your using for this technique, doesn't it harm the user readability a bit?
