Thanks in advance guys.

I have 5 large websites (all around 20-60 thousand unique views/day), and all 5 have different dedicated servers. Just in case. Not to mention the server load.![]()
Interlinking your websites is a "link wheel" it's not a good idea. Each backlink should best be directed to one property to minimize traceable footprints.
Having your websites on different IPs isn't going to be an issue for you most likely -
the point of putting them on different C-class IPs is to convince Google that they aren't related, but the there are other things that can connect them - like having the same registrant for the domain, or all websites using the same adsense ID. If Google can connect them, the class C difference wont' matter.
As for how many blogs you can put on the same hosting - if these are meant to be backlinks for the main website (and you have unique registrant info and unique or no analytics/adsense on each) THEN it would be important to have each website on a different IP (ideally with different hosts).
If there's anything that ties these blogs together, then there's no reason to bother putting them on different hosts, and you can easily host 100 non-popular blogs on the same account (most shared hosts put anywhere from 100-200 clients per server)
Building your own private blog network isn't cheap, and honestly, most likely isn't worthwhile - the quality of the links won't be high enough to justify the effort and expense.
