I'm going to be setting up about 20 autoblogs, mainly for linking back to my main money site. My host can only offer dedicated IPs on the same C block. Does anybody know from experience whether this would be a problem? 20 blogs on the same C block all linking to my money site?

Thanks.

I've done sysadmin / networking for IM companies for the past 5 years and I've heard the rumors about getting IP addresses on different IP blocks.

I can tell you that I have had many sites interlinking on the same subnet (even on the same single IP) and there have never been issues.

I'm not going to find it for you but there is an interview out there where a Google engineer confirms that this is not an issue.

IF you still need to get many IP addresses...

Code:

Thanks for your reply. I guess I will give it a test. I checked seohosting out before, but they're deals are pretty expensive (considering I'm mainly focusing on the backlink juice). I guess multiple domains on the same C Class should be fine. :)

I dont buy into it either. I have researched sites out there where 90+% of the links come from ONE SITE and they rank well in google.. some are just from one blog and some are just from one forum.

If you really concern about your blogs IP, or maybe you want to sell links in your blogs someday, just get a hosting that can offer you a different c-class Ips. I think it cost around $5/month for each
