here's an interesting article from cnn.com. it'll Give you a new perspective on twitter marketing.....at least it did for me. if you don't feel like reading the whole piece, basically it says that gaining influence via twitter isn't necessarily based on the number for followers you have, but the number of re-tweets your followers give. it makes sense if you Think about it...:biglaugh:
