Today's email from Moz had an article about "mobilegeddon"

Pretty much this article is saying yes, you need to be mobile-friendly (I'm sure most are thinking "no shit", right?)
only thing that that caught my eye is that they say said the impact was greater than they anticipated, yet the testing is infant.
I myself haven't ran any comparisons or metrics, as I already secured my sites to be as mobile friendly as possible.
I guess my question from this is simply who wouldn't want to make their business/site mobile-friendly? I can understand those who just are mom-Pop businesses that really don't use their site, but if you're managing an online business I would think that mobilizing/optimizing your site would have been a priority at some point before Google was rolling this update out?
