Integrating E-junkie with private forum ?

Hey everyone, I searched for some good hours how to integrate e-junkie with a private forum.

Basically I am helping a friend who will sell his own ebook and he wants to give private forum access.

So the process will be:

1. Buyer comes to your web site and clicks on your buy button and is taken to e-junkie to checkout
2. Buyer finishes paying, and then they are redirected to a static page on your site that says something to the effect of ?Thank you for your purchase. Please check your email id that you just used during purchase, for information about how to login and access the product you just purchased.?

Or something like that.

Buyer buys the book -> gets private membership to a forum.

How in the earth O_O :crazy: ?

you would have to let ejunkie to create the account ot at least an api to the forum software that provides a success signal for haveing payed. Why dont you use the feature integrated in many bulletin boards like vbulletin, which grants an account access after payment.

another thing you could do is to direct the user after successfull payment to the registration page for account creation, tough admin has to doublecheck and finally activate the account.

My friend currently doesn't have the money to purchase vbulletin, maybe some free forum software or is there a tutorial out there and how specifically?

Is there any HOW TO integrate e-junkie with a private forum somewhere ?

I am looking for 3 days and haven't found a tutorial or something...

So he wants to use a forum, but doesn't want to pay for vbulletin? I would say to use amember but he probably doesn't want to pay for that either. If not, s2member for wordpress might work. I don't know if what you want to accomplish with ejunkie can be done without an admin approving access.
