Integrate ezoic name servers?

I am trying to setup ezoic for my website but the only option it gives to integrate with them is to change name servers to them or use cloud flare. Has anyone (recently) changed Name servers over to them and not had their site completely tank in speed and stability?

I have just read some horror stories on here but most are older from when ezoic leap wasn’t a free inclusion.
