Hi, everybody! Since 2017 I have been doing Facebook pages in the direction of Instant Articles. Those who have been engaged in them since their inception, remember what were payments then and what they are now. I grew my page to 500k+ subscribers mainly through video content.
I monetize my page with AdSense and Instant Articles. In 2017, when the page had 50k subscribers, the income was around $500 from it. Now, hardly gain $100-150. However, in August there was a spike and the page gave traffic of $1000 in 4 days. The peak day gave $500+. It has inspired and has confused me simultaneously. I do not believe that the article was so viral that Facebook generously rewarded the traffic for it.
Therefore, I have such questions:
1. In your opinion, was it a virality or did the article fall into some kind of FB recommendation algorithm?
2. Who works with Instant Articles, write your values: geo, number of subscribers, approximate income.
P.S. I forgot to add, my audience is from CIS. That's why the rates are so low. And video monetization is not available for us.
