Okay, I tried server.lu

I managed to login to my https://myip:8333

Then I use the windows2008 iso.

Then what?

What should I do? Should I remote desktop? Can't do that yet. Somehow I need to run the iso to install windows2008 on the virtual machine right? But how do I access the virtual machine?

Boy that console is very slow!!!

Microsft must have the best remote desktop technology because the rest just isn't as good.
 
make sure you install the VMware tools as well. this will improve your graphics and performance A LOT.
With VMs, you also need to make sure you have enough RAM....which microsoft demands that you have lots of.

Vmware tools? How do I install that?

And there is no way I can install vmware tools on remote. I can't even install the operating system. I just need to do this once and after that I'll just remote desktop.

I think you're mistaken. The issue is not the bad hardware or vga. The issue is I am in Indonesia and hence accessing anything remotely is slow. However, remote desktop is MUCH more respectable than vmware console that's one thing for sure.

By the way, console is a firefox plugin right? They don't have a normal program as console right?

Boy I can't even move the damned mouse.

Finally.... I remote to a real windows server and run the damned console. I finally managed to install WIndows 2008. Now how do I enable remote desktop?

I got this far throguh vmware console. I managed to install windows 2008. What would be the next step? Is there a tutorial somewhere on internet for this?

This is another annoying thing. Windows 2008 says I have to press ctrl + alt + delete to log in. But ctrl + alt is vmware key to disengage from the vmware console. So I can't logged in anymore. I used to be able to but I forget how.

Did you install the vmware tools? If that doesn't work, go to virtual machines settings. Then go to Options tab and go to remote display. There you can enable so that you can use vnc. Then once you do that, you can send ctrl + alt +del to get things moving.
 
Too complicated.

The right answer, the one I had worked very hard to get, is to use vmware console and then operate the windows 2008.

In windows 2008, open the lan connection manually assign IP to ipv4 and uncheck ipv6 and then enable remote desktop and then tada I can remote desktop.

As for ctrl alt del, vmware console has this option where you can send ctrl-alt-del through a menu command.
