Does anyone have a guide for this? Using scrapebox on my Desktop PC is just too slow now and I'm worried in regards to my ISP limiting me for excessive bandwidth usage.

I want to invest in a Windows server but can't seem to find any information on the installation process of Scrapebox... how difficult is it to get everything setup and running?

Furthermore, in terms of bandwidth - when purchasing the server what would you recommend? I'm going to be using the software daily for 9-12 hours.

Finally, are there any specific server requirements (apart from it being Windows) that I should know about?

Thanks!

if it is able to remote desktop it should work on windows server

Can you please elaborate further?

How to install... how complex setup is... etc?

There is no install with SB.

You copy SB through Remote Desktop to your Windows server and run SB just as you would on your home PC.

If you don't know how to use Remote Desktop, Google for it. There's lots of info out there on the subject.

Scrapebox is about as simple as it gets in terms of installing. As blackhit said above.

Make sure you've got enough RAM (2GB should be enough) and a dual core processor will run it all without a hitch.

I don't know if you can play with your halfopen tcp limit on your server, but if you can it's worth doing and then seeing how many threads you can have open at a time.

If your connection is crazy fast, you can edit the config file with notepad to allow more open connections than the sliders allow.

Excellent, thanks all.

I've been tipped to go to VolumeDrive for the server?

Can you use scrapebox on a windows server without remote desktop? I have vista home edition which does not have remote desktop.
