installing ComfyUI on Mac - Questions

Hello everyone

I am trying to install ComfyUI on my MacBook (M3 Max) and the setup already seems a bit pain in the a**

My main question: Will ComfyUI use a lot of power and slow down my laptop significantly?
Or is it not really an issue?

Also, how long would it take to generate a small 10sec video?
Am I looking at 2-3 hours where my MacBook is basically unusable, or is it more manageable?

Would love to hear your experiences!

or is there a way to use it online? i found a website but it looks pretty scamy to me

oooor could you even recommend another AI tool for generating nsfw/sfw pics and videos?
Whether it is free or paid doesn’t really matter

You cannot .. generating an image on my M4PRO 64go will take 30min where my pc with a RTX 4080 Super will take 56secondes !!! so buy a PC .. im a Mac guy but got a pc for AI generation.. or use stuff like mimicpc

Yes there is alot of online offer but you won't be as free as with you own PC .. or rent a ream VM like a virtual gaming pc. Shadow PC does this think

You can run it on Google Colab but the setup is a bit tricky. Most of the colab notebooks online doesn't work perfectly and requires modification. And if you want to do video generation, the setup is totally different.
