Hey, Sorry if this is a stupid question. But every time I connect instagress to my instagram account, instagram always makes me reset password because of suspicious activity. Anyone else have this problem. Or what am I doing wrong? Thanks!

It usually happens only the first time the account gets connected. If you are using instagress avoid using the account alot on your phone aswell

I am not using Instagress. I use my phone and my bot at the same time and never had problems.

You will only have issues if both things are doing the same actions constantly. E.g bot is following and you are also following on phone. If bot is unfollowing and you are following on phone that is OK. Too risky to perform same type of actions continually on both formats in my eyes

happens for your safety, as it is a different ip logging into your account
 
I have the same problem if I use my phone + instagress same time. The workaround I found was to set up Instagress during the time I sleep and to turn it off when I wake up. This way I can utilize both at the same time. Or you can pause it and then use the app and then resume it again but that is a complete hassle.

If somebody knows the best, he is not telling anyone and uses for his own profit.
When somebody starts to write a book "How to gain followers really fast" then it is too late.
 
I know people who clearly use something like robolike or instagress because they like certain hashtags and have around 7K - 15K followers and are hardly following anyone BUT the secret is... or big question is, which hashtags to like to get the right attention.
 
I've been using instagress for a year now, i get around 35-50 followers a day. its really about who you are targeting
 
I've been using Archie for a while now though, I think it's quite similar to instagress. I left it to run 24/7 and the result is good too.
 
I got banned because of this. be careful! I was running instagress 24/7 full speed (almost hitting the limits) all this while doing my thing via app as well. complete savage. don't do the same my friend. but I was going up like crazy 6.8k in almost 6 months. story views 400 ppl in 24 hours + lots of comments and likes... It's painful when you get banned. I regret everything, now. (sad face)
 
Actually FollowLiker is the best alternative.
