So I've made a few instagram accounts, they have a few followers (500+) with content lockers. The niche I'm trying is the Hacks & Cheats. Till now I've just made $5 income. Am I missing something? Or should I just try another niche/method?

I dont know how your men earn cash from instragm for me i cant get single traffic from this shitty site.
 
Build up those accounts before you start putting out offers for your followers. It's better to have a larger following before you start advertising your links.

What do you suggest for the minimum before you monetize accounts? I always see people with multiple accounts with over 1 million followers and still not monetizing... I don't understand that. I tested a CPA offer on my 30k plus Instagram and made a decent amount. Are people not monetizing their accounts to not get banned?

Probably they are looking to sell shout outs..ans they don't want to lose followers by selling affiliate links..
 
Conversion depends on how relevant is your offer. Maybe followers simply do not need the thing you're trying to sell.
 
Like others suggested, build up your accounts for a few weeks and only drop an advertisement there every now and then. Shouldn't spam everyone all the time otherwise they get annoying and only a small amount of people will complete those offers.
 
I also think it's too early for you to monetize, grow a bit more first.
 
It's hard to make a decent amount of money on Instagram without scaling up big time, unless you already have an extremely popular account with a shit ton of followers, but even that doesn't guarantee conversions. I recommend giving bots a try and scaling with a lot of different accounts and following really targeted demographic, that's how most people do it anyway.
 
Like they said above, start promoting your offers when your accounts is larger so it reach out to more people

Buy real Instagram followers is a good option which through you will make a good reputation instantly and you will receive target followers and can bring your target audience to your business links.
