Does someone promote his youtube on his Instagram?
I want to do this but never did youtube before.

Yeah, youtubers do... but I can't imagine how useful it could be for you as you just told us you've never done YT before...

A lot of people do that! You can either put a really attractive picture from the video which you did talking more about what exactly the video is all about and providing a link to it.

Or you can also put a small clip from the video on your Instagram, asking the followers to watch the video to see the full thing.
