Instagram wont let me follow?

Thing is, I dont follow a lot of people at all!
Since I started my account I followed 200 people... I use follow liker to like only 1000-2000 pics a day.
For over 24 hours now if I try follow someone it goes green then quickly returns to blue?
I dont understand?

"Only" 1000-2000 likes on a brand new account? well, you might risk "only" a ban

Over 1000 Likes a day it's pretty risky. Especially if it's a new account.

That means that you're temporarily blocked from following, Just stop botting for 24 hours.

Also lower your settings before starting again.

No its not a new account. Its 15 weeks old, I've had no warnings.
I only like pics, no comments, no follow-unfollow... So im confused why they banned me from following... shouldnt they ban me from liking?

I had this too tho on my main account. I didnt follow anyone or like more than 15 posts. Just logged in many times on different analytics websites / apps. It blocked me from following for a full day. 3 years old account
