Instagram will remove fake likes and follows

Explain please why buying likes/followers may be risky?? Do they recognize whether it's fake or not?

A program like Jarvee emulates a phone, so as far as I know, it's not going to be one of those apps that are doomed. However, I think users that have had behavioral patterns of following 100's of accounts one day, then unfollowing shortly after, might be in a bit of trouble. For those that have 100s of accounts, I'm not really sure what I would do.

For those that might have a hybird account, meaning you bot to grow, but its a real account that you use, I would slow my settings down, big time. And randomize actions every single day. For example, work your way up to your 7k follows, then slowly back down. If you only follow or unfollow say, 10-15 per day on some days, or you take a few days off, then so be it. Going to be like Twitter now perhaps. For comments, I would just do the $1.80 method before bed, or something like that.

Right now, all we have is just a press release, and a ton of speculation. We hear someone whistling "the cheese stands alone," and a bunch for people on the sidelines screaming that "Omar's coming." It's just going to be a wait and see.

It is not 100% true.
The correct phrase is that those programs like Jarvee emulate the requests like if them was did by the mobile phone APP. They don't emulate the an phone to do the actions (like an real user).
That is 100% true just if they simulate all the Instagram requests, what is quite impossible (if you do MIM at the IG app you will see that).

By the way, let's wait and see the unrolling of the facts.

The benefit for those that bot, is that it makes the account more authentic, but it can also be used to gain potentially a boat load of followers, and more importantly recognition and authority in your niche. All by just simply using instagram the way it was intended. This is just a short summery, you can google a guide on how to do it.

In a nutshell, take 9 hashtags in your niche and check out the top results and pick a photo to leave a real comment on. Do that 10 times, for 9 different hastags. It's imperative that the comments be real, and engaging. Not an emoji, or "cool pic" If you're a writer, you can hit the speech to text key on your phone and knock out something useful, witty, or engaging pretty quickly.

Some people swear by this method, some people say it's too tedious. I just know it has worked for me, and influencers with millions of followers still use this method.
 
As a very early Instagram player, here are my thoughts: Insta will make it difficult and frustrating to buy likes, not end it as they know its not possible (unless big players give up) but can definitely make it hard for us to operate as we do today. In regards to Instagram, i think they should have waited till 2billion users target reached to crack on fake not now. Killing likes business will kick many people out. Create a new user, upload wow post, see the ZERO engagement. Without buying, insta will sacrifice user growth (possible to happen though).

This method is tedious but safe in the long run, besides you engage with your target niche. Success always comes with hard work.

Depends on the provider. I know some use the actual Instagram app to process the followers and likes.

And let's be real, if you are a business selling some products you will get way better results with sponsored ads then you will with any tool for follow-unfollow.

Ahh man this is big news. I don't buy likes or followers from panels but i really hope this doesn't affect methods like the one Proxified and others are doing to gain like 10k and up followers within a month time, really gonna need a connection like that in the future.
 
Something different on this: What about Buffer and Hootsuite, etc. Some people also automated their posting ... ist that also affected? I, for example, feel completely safe. All my account also have a lot of personal interaction and I only use the like automation. I don't think this will affect accounts that are actually "real" but have some help growing.
 
Ive seen this story before since back in the day but nothing ever happens. I have used the same custom bot I created myself since insta allowed api and with the exception of some minor tweaks I never had any issues. If instagram were to do actually go forward with this all their third party advertisers would be on the same boat as us so it makes zero sense. And lets not forget their engagement rate would drop significantly. Bots are part of the echo system in any social media platform. My 2c
 
I guess my question here would be - If I use an app that likes and comments on other people's content for me will my page be affected?

Cause technically I'm giving real likes and comments... I don't buy likes and comments (anymore) but I do automate to make my life easier ......... Thoughts?
