So I am following alot of famous people on Instagram, mostly to see what they are up to and to get a glimpse of their lifestyle. Anyway, the latest weeks I have seen their pictures beeing bombarded with Instaspambots commenting on almost all of their pictures. Some of them have even uploaded text pictures begging the spammers to stop spamming their account. Haha, probably some people from BHW just doing their work.

Anyway what do you guys think the solution will be for Instagram to fight the spammers, captcha on comments? Or maybe another solution?

Captcha's are way too annoying and it would cause normal people on Instagram to stop commenting as much.

They'll probably do email verification. Or just captcha to sign up.

They'll probably just do more of what they're doing: review the comments on popular pics, delete/ghost/mute/lock anyone who looks spammy.

Or they're going to sue someone and the bot creators to scare everyone off.

yeah the idiots spamming free iPhone links making their 100$ a day are actually shooting themselves in the foot.

LMAO i couldnt agree more..People search me on skype everyday asking me are you doing the iphone 5 niche..i just tell them yeah go do it make tons of money..lol its my stress free thing!!

i request instagram to take action against spammers ASAP!

they are just Killing one of my favorite app! moreover if this will keep on going there is no way to establish any Good platform in future. we all know what spammers did for pinterest and now they are headed towards IG.

Get a life guys, i'm damn sure you (SPAMMERS) are not making a decent money just killing your time and capabili from making money from legit work. i don't think spending hours just to get penny or max $50 a day is worth for anyone!

Now someone will come and say! $50 a day i.e. 30x50 a month i.e. 365x30x50 a year.
I will say, "Do you think its PERMANENT ?"

KILL YOURSELF FOR LEGIT WAY, DON'T BE FOOL or (In future) Get ready to be a Next Beggar on your local street!!

I agree that captcha on comments isn't the way to go, that will only ruin the user experience.

I think the solution is some kind of comment restriction, for example a restriction that restricts user to only post a comment per minute.

Don't worry guys, they will come up with ideas and shut down everything. FB did, twitter did, YT did, Pinterest did, now it's Instagram job to do it

I reckon they will introduce phone verifed accounts, making it much harder to create a ton of accounts. However, whatever they introduce will never really stop people, it will just get rid of the mindless spammers saying "get a free iphone here!". Limitations were introduced to facebook and twitter, however people are still making a lot of money from them.

Spammer will never stop and anyone can't stop them.

Are you think fb totally spam free? no never. still people spamming. currently little fish can't do spam, but what about big fish they still doing spamming.

Pinterest did, thats funny cause they stopped me for about a week but I'm back to banking off them. Now to be fair I just don't blast pins all day going to CPA offers.

I admit the I have XGram bot with 400 accounts but have not really pushed IG marketing due to the massive amount of spam. The only thing IG has to do is make accounts phone verified (not sure how this would work for non phone users) or add a simple "are you a human question" to comments and image uploads. Not captcha because that would piss off people trying to type on a mobile phone but something like "There is a color displayed on the screen, pick that color" where you would given three options to choose from.

YEs u r Right
a REPORT button or spam button

haha i think thy are bhw member as i saw some thread about spaming it

my 1 pic was spam
someone wrote "wow nice pic, guys i made $$$ daily online working 4 hours a day....."
i couldn;t stop my anger for sometime LOL
but spaming wil never stop!!!
Thinking to try next other as same as instagram ,i have 50 accounts ,but donot wanna spam bez i think most are aware about spam at instagram LOL

It's mostly also due to public bots like xgram being sold to retards and we all know how that goes down

It's a fine balance, because instagram tries very hard to be quirky and cool, so captcha may be difficult I think theyll probably verify emails reasonably soon, or something like that, burbn are clever
