Have you compared the effectiveness of videos and photos, and which should you prioritize? I'm currently using photos, but they're not ideal. Creating video footage requires a lot of work and professional staff. I'm considering whether to switch to video editing.

Videos usually perform way better for engagement and conversions. Photos are fine for quick posts, but videos just grab attention longer. If you can manage the extra effort or use simple editing tools, it’s definitely worth switching to video.
 
Videos are generally more effective than photos because they engage viewers better.
 
I am also facing the same experience. Pictures are not getting much engagement, but making videos is a bit difficult. I am thinking of starting with simple video editing. Which one do you think gives better results?
 
videos grab attention better. ppl scroll past pics but pause on motion. even short clips looped right can lift engagement. u don’t need a full crew reuse stock b-roll, add text overlays, keep it light. one clean vid per post beats ten static shots.

You could test multiple photos together in a carousel. They perform better than single image posts.

Depends on your niche, photos perform better for photographers, videos perform better for restaurants.
 
Videos usually get more reach and engagement than photos, but if resources are limited you can start with short Reels or simple edits quality and consistency matter more than fancy production

Production costs are high, you can start small simple vertical videos or slideshows from your photos can work.
 
Right now, video is 100% much better than static content. There are a lot of services for creating artificial intelligence, I advise you to switch to video editing

That's true, but video production is a technical job that requires a lot of effort, and I'm also starting to plan to invest a lot of time in video production.

instagram carousel perform as crazy. posts generated by ai with 3 mins and 25 cents get 100k views in 2 days lol
 
Personally, my videos usually perform better, although some carousels have worked well for me too.
 
Instagram stopped being a photo platform a long time ago. It's now a TikTok and YouTube competitor where you can also post photos. Switch to video, mate.
